THERAPIST, COACH, SPEAKER, SUPERVISOR, CONSULTANT

 ABOUT ME

I am a licensed psychotherapist, life/relationship coach, speaker and therapist supervisior consultant with 10+ years in the field. Throughout my experience as a psychotherapist I have developed a passion for counseling everyday people wanting to improve their quality of life. I strongly believe that in order to improve the quality of love in your life, you have to first start with the love that you have for yourself which requires you to walk in your truth.
I specialize in working with African American clients on the following issues: Self love and defining their happiness,  All things relationships, particularly premarital counseling and couples who have been married under five years, and reducing anxiety in black women as it relates to the “Strong Black Woman” syndrome.

I strive and work daily to change the stigma of mental health in the African American community. I believe in making services more convenient and helping people to limit the excuses blocking them from getting started.

I own a boutique private practice, Love Therapy, that was built from scratch on my own terms. I love working with other therapist on discovering the type of therapist they want to be and the role they want to play in this field. I am also committed to the professional and ethical development of new clinicians.
